Dear Colleagues:

We are pleased to announce that the joint conference of Asian Cataract Research Conference (ACRC) and the lens satellite meeting of ICER,  will be held in Xian, China on September 18-21, 2008.

The meeting is co-sponsored by the Chinese Cataract Association, the ACRC and ISER organizations.  The 3-full day program will cover all subjects on the lens. As in the past, the program will include both poster and platform presentations. The platform sessions will be organized around specific themes and talks will be selected from abstracts submitted by participants. Platform presentations will be scheduled for 20 minutes each, followed by 10 minutes for discussion. Individuals who are not selected for a platform presentation are invited to bring a poster presentation. Posters will be available for viewing throughout the meeting.

The meeting is organized and supported by Department of Ophthalmology, Tangdu Hospital. Our meeting will be held in Sofitel on Renmin Square, Xi`an , located in the center of the city. Many of the major attractions of Xi`an are close by.
